I'm married to my wonderful husband, raising three kids, homeschooling my preschooler, nurturing my baby twins, living in Alaska, and flying by the seat of my pants.

picture walk nov 16 morning
When we went to the Mantanuska Glacier, we picked up a rock on our windshield. It was only a nic, but with the freezing temps, we don't want it cracking, so this morning, before the sun even came up (9am), we had someone come out to repair it. Now this morning everyone was having a rough time. Last night was particularly windy and thus loud. Adi woke up several times, scared, and Ben and Morgan are going through a growth spurt and eating around the clock. So bleary-eyed I put on my boots and coat to meet the guy outside to fix the windshield. It was -3 outside.
It's become so cold and dry outside, that the insides of our very old windows are constantly foggy. I wish I could get a clear picture of the kitchen window, that one has a thick layer of ice, yes ice, on the inside, yes I said inside of the window. There is ice inside! Now it's time for me to admit that it is outlandishly cold outside.
This is where I spend most of my time. My Breast Friend Twin Nursing Pillow, phone, remote, water, and coffee. The sad this about that wonderful cup of coffee, by the time I'm done nursing, it's cold, then I heat it up, take a few sips, and it's time to nurse again, then it gets cold again. I need to solve this problem, but how?

This is becoming an all too often sight in my kitchen sink. Adi is doing so well with potty training, but she hasn't been making it to the potty in time. Today she was half way onto the potty.
Adi threw a 41 minute (yes I timed it) tantrum today over getting dressed. I heard everything from, 'no I want to wear my jammies', 'I can't zip up my dress', 'it's inside out', 'it's backwards', 'I can't do it', 'help me', 'no I do it', and finally 'leave me alone'
After her accident, she ended up with a completely mixed matched outfit with a bathrobe.
Adi wrote out a recipe today. I guess I spend too much time looking for new meal ideas. But really, it isn't a bad thing. She wants to cook, and for the most part, I let her help me make meals and snacks.
This is what Ben and Morgan look like after excessive nursing and cuddling. It's super cute to want to cuddle, but I haven't had coffee or breakfast, and I've been up since 4:58am and they've nursed every 30 minutes since 4:58am.
Poor baby Ben, his scream is one that isn't easily ignored. This is what both Ben and Morgan look like when they're going through a growth spurt and aren't currently eating or being held.
Poor baby Ben post feeding. He just wants milk and cuddles. And I am happy to oblige
